Terie learned the craft of proposal writing in 1989. Since that time, she has applied her skills and experience to countless grant opportunities to capture funding for various non-profit organizations, municipalities, and school districts. In 2011, Terie began an independent venture to focus her talent and energy where they could make the greatest impact. Although she continues to write for various organizations, her niche is rural, low-income school districts.

Terie holds a Degree in Communications Studies. Her Master’s work was in Counseling & Psychological Services. She served as the Executive Director of several major non-profit organizations. She closed that career path as the Director of the Child Abuse Task Force and Child Fatality Review Team for Oswego County, NY. Then, she co-founded a community-based literacy program using a bookmobile to service the neediest and most vulnerable young members of the greater Oswego, NY Community.

Simultaneous to launching this writing and program evaluation venture, Terie spent time teaching students who were suspended from school - it was that experience that catalyzed her focus on the education sector. Terie believes that a child must come to school whole and confident in order to actively participate in learning and develop their fullest potential. Currently, Terie resides in Port Charlotte, Florida and spends summers in upstate NY.

Donna retired as an educator following 28 years of service, completing her tenure as a Literacy Specialist. Over the last four years, Donna has lead winning proposals to the finish line. As part of a team response, Donna brings critical oversight to each application package with attention to conformity relative to project priorities, package formatting, and developing responses that will capture maximum point values. Donna currently resides in Sandy Creek, NY with her husband Randy.

Writing Partner: We need a writing partner who is highly skilled in TECHNICAL writing with an in-depth understanding of the education system at the local, state and federal level. Interested writing partners must be able to demonstrate successful experience developing proposal narratives. Knowledge of state, federal and private submission portals preferred.
